Diana’s tattoo journey began seven years ago when she moved to the UK. Starting a new life in a new culture sparked an inner journey to rediscover herself through art. She began to paint regularly, but was increasingly drawn to the world of tattooing.
Diana spent the next few years exploring hand-poke tattooing as a hobby and, in 2020, decided to take her passion a full-time when she joined The Island. She now works primarily with machine, which has allowed her to grow and develop her art in new and exciting directions.
Diana’s work is often inspired by the natural environment and its capacity to help us be more present, mindful and grateful for the world around us. Her designs also draw from her fascination with Eastern philosophies and, in abstract form, explore the human drive to understand ourselves and our place in the universe.
Still an avid painter, Diana loves to spend time in the mountains or by the sea. She practises yoga and loves to relax by the fire with a good book.
